Standing Up for Rural Nevada

Assembly District 36 encompasses five rural counties: Lincoln, Mineral, Nye, Esmeralda, and parts of Churchill, most of which is located in remote areas. The size of the district presents some unique challenges but some wonderful opportunities as well.

I'm running for office because I believe rural Nevada needs the kind of representation that will allow us to have greater influence and impact on the state. We need job growth, development, and increased technology. Rural Nevada is prime real estate for the research and development of alternative energy sources. With your help we can harness our natural resources in a way that  uses our talents but doesn't negatively impact our way of life.
 
Our community values anchor us. We are farmers, ranchers, and business owners who are innovative, independent, and spirited. We take our communities and our lifestyle seriously. Isn't it time we had representation that takes us seriously, too?
